Terms & Conditions

Last updated: July 14, 2026

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of SolveFire. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use SolveFire.

Using SolveFire

SolveFire is a platform for learning, practicing, and competing in mathematics. You must use the service lawfully, provide accurate account information, and keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account.

Fair play and community conduct

You must compete honestly and treat other users respectfully. During a competition, do not share answers, use unauthorized assistance, exploit platform vulnerabilities, impersonate others, interfere with the service, or attempt to gain an unfair advantage. Additional expectations are described in our Honor Code.

Your content

You keep ownership of content you create and submit to SolveFire. By submitting it, you give us permission to host, display, process, and use it as needed to operate, improve, and promote the platform. You are responsible for ensuring that your content does not violate law or another person's rights.

SolveFire content

Unless stated otherwise, SolveFire's problems, solutions, branding, software, and editorial materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may use them for personal, non-commercial participation in the platform, but may not copy, distribute, or commercially exploit them without permission.

Competitions and rankings

Competition formats, eligibility, schedules, scoring, rankings, and prizes may change. We may correct errors, investigate suspicious activity, disqualify submissions, or adjust results when reasonably necessary to preserve a fair competition. Decisions about platform integrity and competition administration are final to the extent permitted by law.

Payments and donations

Any payments or donations are handled through the payment options presented at the time of purchase. Unless required by law or expressly stated otherwise, donations are voluntary and non-refundable. Payment processors may have their own terms that apply.

Suspension or termination

We may suspend or terminate access to SolveFire when we reasonably believe these terms have been violated, the platform is at risk, or we need to comply with law. Where practical, we will explain the reason for an enforcement action and provide an appropriate way to ask for review.

Availability and disclaimers

SolveFire is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We work to keep the platform reliable, but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SolveFire disclaims warranties not expressly stated in these terms.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SolveFire and its contributors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the revised version here and update the date above. If you continue to use SolveFire after the change takes effect, you agree to the revised terms.
